Over the Road
Tucker Freight Line's dry van division primarily runs in the Midwest region of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Some of our secondary lanes are Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, and Missouri. In addition, we occasionally will take what we call "one-off" loads that take us down to Kentucky or further south. We have an excellent customer base and a vast amount of freight. Our average length of haul is around 440 miles, and well over 60% of our loads are drop & hook.
Local
We offer local driving positions out of our Dubuque and Quad Cities locations. This position would require a driver to reside within 45 minutes of one of our terminals. However, this job allows a driver to be home daily as they typically run within a 250-mile radius.
Flex Fleet
We offer Flex Fleet driving positions out of our Dubuque and Quad Cities locations. This position would require a driver to reside within 45 minutes of a terminal. This driving job would only require the driver to stay out in the truck 2-3 nights a week. Flex Fleet drivers often run within a 350-mile radius; however, they will occasionally take longer loads which would be the nights they would stay out in the truck.
