Tucker Freight Seeking 2nd Shift Fleet Maintenance Tech

Tucker Freight Lines is looking to add a full-time Fleet Maintenance Technician to service tractor-trailers and terminal equipment at its Dubuque headquarters. Candidate must be dependable, detail oriented and have own tools We look for motivated and ambitious individuals to proactively identify issues with equipment.

Some duties will include Oil / Filter Changes, brake and drum replacements, shock replacements, tire, replacments, wiper, fluid checks and other minor adjustments, inspections, and other various shop duties. 

Compensation based on experience. Pay incentive for CDL. If no CDL, we look for a  willingness to obtain, and will provide assistance. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and service tractor-trailers and terminal equipment

• Maintain equipment according to company and FMCSA guidelines

• Position includes bending, lifting and climbing

• Supply and maintain own tools.

• Communicate and report updates to management

• Assist other Maintenance Techs as needed

• Move tractor-trailers around a terminal lot or to and from vendors

• Positive attitude

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Class-A CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience preferred but not necassary
• This is a 2nd shift position with a rotating 4 hour Saturday Shift.
