Sauny Tucker, CEO

As Chief Executive Officer of Tucker Freight Lines, Sauny Tucker leads with authenticity, vision, and a deep commitment to people. She and her husband, AJ Tucker, entered the trucking industry together in 2001, and from the beginning Sauny immersed herself in every part of the business while building lasting relationships with employees, drivers, and customers. Her ability to connect with others and her dedication to Tucker’s mission continue to drive the company’s growth and culture forward.

Since the 2018 acquisition of Art Pape Transfer, Sauny’s leadership has helped guide Tucker Freight Lines through more than 300 percent growth. The company has expanded operations to include heavy haul, dedicated, spotting, and sustainable yard management services while maintaining a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and care for its people.

Her leadership was recognized nationally in 2024 when Tucker Freight Lines was named a Top Woman Owned Business in Transportation by the Women In Trucking Association. The recognition highlights her commitment to empowering people across the organization and creating opportunities for growth within the industry.

As CEO, Sauny oversees safety, human resources, recruiting, and marketing. Her leadership is grounded in integrity, teamwork, and a people first approach that continues to shape Tucker Freight Lines into one of the region’s most respected carriers.

Sauny and AJ live in Dubuque, Iowa, with their three sons, Charlie, Leo, and William, and their two dogs, Freddie and Louie. The Tucker family is deeply involved in their community and enjoys everything from local sports to professional level motocross racing.
