David McGill - Chief Operating Officer

David McGill serves as Chief Operating Officer at Tucker Freight Lines. With more than 25 years of experience in trucking and logistics, he has worked across nearly every part of the industry, from operations and sales to design and leadership. 

His experience bridges the shipper and carrier sides of transportation, supported by time teaching supply chain management. That mix of real-world and academic perspective helps him connect the needs of customers with the daily realities of drivers and operations teams. 

David was drawn to Tucker because of its people and the company’s team-oriented culture. He believes in the power of collaboration, communication, accountability, and in creating an environment where people can succeed in their own way. 

Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors and time with his family and friends.
